Everett Scofield

Everett Scofield, 90, of Alabama, passed away on August 28, 2022 at New York State Veterans Home in Batavia.

Everett was born December 29, 1931 in Medina, the son of the late Grant and Genevieve (Ciesinski) Scofield.

A founding member and elder of the Alabama Full Gospel Fellowship, Everett was very active in his faith and would hold bible studies in his home.  Everett worked as an assembly line worker at Trojan in Batavia and also as a furniture maker at Taylor Brothers in Medina.  He loved camping, woodworking and he was an advisor with Aglow.

Surviving are his daughters, Deborah (Greg) Smart of Marysville, PA, Lori (Fred) Aquina of Batavia and Sandra Smart of Alabama; a sister-in-law, Janice (late Leo) Snyder of Alabama; grandchildren, Hillary (Nicholas) Amici, Jacob (Amber Becker) Smart, Joel Hiscutt, Danielle Hiscutt, Lydia Aquina, Tiffanie (Dave) Amerine, Haven Smart, Tucker (Tara) Smart and Corde Smart; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alexander, Aurora, Elija, Josiah, Bentley, Colton, Finley and Calie (Dominic) Lettieri; a great-great-grandchild, Nova and several nieces and nephews.

Everett is the husband of the late Shirley Scofield.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield.  Everett 's funeral service will be held privately.  He will be laid to rest in Alabama Cemetery with military honors.
