Josephine "Jo" Marchese

  Josephine “Jo” (nee Coppolino) Marchese, of Batavia passed away peacefully on October 3, 2022 at age 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell M. Marchese, Dearest daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Coppolino. Jo is also predeceased by her brother John “Jack” Coppolino and sister Joan (Bill) Davis.

Loving mother of Ann (Daniel) Celani, Marilyn (Bernd) Kutzscher, Russell (Wendy), David (Julie), Thomas (Linda), Robert (Teresa), Susan (John) Nicastro. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Elaine Scappa and Marilyn Coppolino; cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, for many years Jo was involved with charitable and community causes, an active parishioner at St. Mary’s Church and a volunteer teacher at Notre Dame High School.

There will be no prior calling hours and Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
