He was born Monday, March 7th, 1983 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky a son of Wilmer F. Stapleton Sr. and Sandra L. French Stapleton of Attica.
Wilmer loved all sports, fishing and listening to music. A fantastic cook, he enjoyed watching cooking shows on television. His family meant the world to him.
Surviving along with his parents are his wife, Rebecca R. Reilly-Stapleton; his sons, Lincoln Wyatt Stapleton-Reilly and Hudson Cole Stapleton-Reilly; his brother, Eric W. Stapleton; his niece, Gianna Stapleton; paternal grandmother, Sarah Stapleton along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia, where services will immediately follow visitation at 3 pm. He will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
