Virginia E. Fagan

Pavilion ~ Virginia E. “Ginny” Fagan, age 90, formerly of Hartwell Road, passed away on Monday (Oct. 17, 2022) at the Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home in Clarence.

  She was born January 15, 1932 in Castile, NY, a daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Overholt Edwards.

     Ginny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to many.  She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and travelling with her husband, Richard.

     She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Richard; son, Gerald (Marianna) Fagan; grandchildren, Alexis Czaja, Melissa (Jonathan) McPoland and Joshua (Mackenna) Fagan; great-grandchildren, Jeannelle MacPherson, Skylar Fronczak, Benjamin Fronczak, Johnathan Licata, Brayden McPoland and Declan Fagan; sisters, Rose Anchor and Shirley (Les) Burling; sister-in-law, Barbara Edwards, along with many nieces, nephews and close friends.

     She was predeceased by her daughter, Peggy Gartlan; brother, Ernest Edwards; grandson, Phillip Czaja and brother-in-law, Edward Anchor.

     Family and friends may call on Friday, Oct. 21 from 2 ~ 4 PM and 6 ~ 7:30 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where her Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:30 PM.  Private interment in Fairview Cemetery, Pavilion.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either the Alzheimers Association or the First Presbyterian Church of LeRoy.
