  Pamela A. Truax, 84, of Byron passed away peacefully on Thursday November 3, 2022 at Crossroads House in Batavia. She was born on May 9, 1938 in Olean to the late Joseph and Eleanor (Rose) Weinman. She is also predeceased by her sister; Linda Weinman; grandsons Luke and Steele Truax.

Pam was a member of the Byron Rescue Squad for many years.

She has left behind her husband of 42 years; Milford Truax; children Stan (Vicky) Truax of Bergen, Kim (Jerry) Pospychalla and Shane (Erica) Truax; Melissa Truax and Christopher Truax; sister Jerry Sue and brothers Tom and Charlie Weinman, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 4:00PM Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 11, 2022 at the Byron Fire Hall 6357 Townline Rd. Byron, NY 14422. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellsville.
