LindaKay S. Beaumont

LindaKay S. Beaumont , 78, died unexpectedly on Nov. 30,2022 at home.

     She was born April 4, 1944 in Batavia , NY the daughter of the late Dr. Raymond T.  and Frances M. Schmelzle .

     LindaKay graduated from LeRoy HS Class of 1963 and Bryant and Stratton in 1965.

 Married to Dennis Beaumont, they celebrated 48 years of marriage this past July.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Sonja Rae; her grandson, Shaun Ryan Niccloy; in-laws, Mary Kunego Beaumont and Eugene Sanford Beaumont and closest friend, Kathy Rich.

     Surviving in addition to her husband, Dennis Beaumont, are her daughters, Robin Niccloy

(Steve Musson), Jodi Lyn Teed (Steve), Tammi Beaumont (Sal); son, Tim Beaumont (Debbie); nine grandchildren, T.J., Phil and Cody Niccloy, Jennifer, Stephanie and Samantha Merica, Chrissy King, Katie Mignano; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Richard Schmelzle and his wife,  Laurine of Toronto Canada; brother-in-law, Eugene Beaumont (Linda) of LeRoy; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

     LindaKay worked for Genesee Community College for over 44 years.  She was a founding member of the LeRoy Fire Auxiliary; a loyal volunteer of the America Red Cross and LeRoy Food Pantry, as well as a member of the Oatka Queens and a lifetime member of the LeRoy Presbyterian Church.

     Besides her love for her family, she was known by her endearing nickname “Crazy Nana”, her crocheted blankets, playing Euchre and hanging beachside at Gravel Ponds with her friends.

     A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at 1 PM at the LeRoy First Presbyterian Church, 7 Clay St.  A Reception will immediately follow the service.

     Those who wish to remember LindaKay in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the LeRoy Ambulance Service or LeRoy Fire Department.
