James E. Kryman

James E. Kryman, 83, of Batavia passed away peacefully on December 15, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 9, 1939 in Batavia to the late Albert and Orial (Bluman) Kryman. In addition to his parents, Jim is predeceased by twin grandsons; Brandon and Troy Sheeler.

During Jim’s 41 years at Chapin Manufacturing in Batavia, he enjoyed the golf and bowling leagues he was a part of. Even after he retired, Jim continued enjoying being on the golf course almost daily. He treasured his time with his family, especially during the holiday season. Jim’s three grandchildren were the light of his and Joan’s life.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years; Joan (Caborn) Kryman of Batavia; daughter Traci (Mark) Sheeler of Alexander; 2 sisters Joyce and Judy; 3 grandchildren Tyler Sheeler of Batavia, Ryan Sheeler of Alexander and Megan Sheeler of Ft. Meade, Maryland.

There will be no prior calling hours and Services will be held privately. Jim will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery.
