Ms. Burling was born October 21, 1941 in Batavia, a daughter of the late John P. and Lydia Dorothy (Schultz) Burling.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Batavia for over 40 years and was a devout Christian who enjoyed studying the Bible. She liked to knit and tend to her rose garden.
Surviving are her sons, John Paul (late Mary) Butler, and Jackson James Butler both of Batavia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Frances is preceded in death by her siblings, Jackson J. (late Bertie) Burling, James Edward (late Joyce) Burling, and George Burling.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday (December 21, 2022) from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia, where Frances' Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 5:00 pm. Burial in West Middlebury Cemetery will be private.
