Marion D. Conrad, 96, of Varysburg passed away on March 5, 2023. Marion was born on October 21, 1926 to the late Jervis and Nadyne Devin. She is predeceased by her loving husband Gerald Conrad; sisters Eileen Miller and Ann Elvin; brothers Leo Devin, Gordon Devin and Milford Devin.

Marion married Gerald Conrad in 1945 and built a home in Varysburg in 1957 that she still owned.  She worked as a Postal Worker at the Varysburg post office where she retired after many years. She enjoyed attending craft shows, concerts and plays with her friends. Marion was a very active member of her community, where everyone knew her. She was an active member at St Joseph’s Church, always baking and helping where needed. Marion loved gardening, she use to say she was happiest having her hands in the dirt. She loved spending time with family especially her nieces and nephews, she was everyone's 2nd mother.

Marion is survived by her sister Jean (Chuck) Watros of Texas; along with her beloved nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

The family would like to thank the Varysburg Community for years of love and the Wyoming County Community Nursing Home and their staff for their loving care.
