James P. "Jim" McMahon

James P. “Jim” McMahon, 64, of Darien, was called home to the Lord suddenly on July 31, 2023. He was born on February 24, 1959 in Buffalo to the late John and Anna Mae (Sennott) Shelby.  

Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and friend. The memory of Jim lives on in the love of his life of 26 years; Rosanne; his 4 loving sons Adam (Nikki) Sarvis, Jesse (Alicia) Sarvis, Ryan (Amber) Sarvis and Jason Sarvis (and the late Alexis Arthur). Jim loved being a grandfather to Hannah, Summer, Aiden, Madison, Tyler, Gavin and Brayden. 

He is also survived by his siblings; Patricia Carney of MI., Sheila (Paul) Merle of Alexander. He is preceded in death by Walter (Betty) Franz and Mary Gravenda. Jim was adored by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Jim was an amazing family man who always had a smile on and the most optimistic outlook on life. He loved spending time with his rescue beagle and best bud Louie and living his best life with Rosanne. Jim’s legacy and kindness will live on and will forever be close to our hearts.
