Attica - Norman "Norm" H. Steinbaugh, 90 of Attica passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Le Roy Village Green Nursing in Le Roy, NY.

Norman was born Tuesday, May 16th, 1933 in Canandaigua, New York, a son of the late Walter and Carrie (Stone) Steinbaugh.

He was a member of Masons, Attica Lodge #462 F. & A.M., GVACs car club, The Moose Lodge, and a boy scout in his younger years. Norman loved his classic cars, from his 1929 Model A to his 1968 Plymouth, and every car in-between. He also had a love for motorcycles.

Norman married the love of his life, Anna Mae Hunt, on April 5, 1968, in Batavia, NY. Together they enjoyed 55 wonderful years raising 3 wonderful children and spent many hours of joy with their grandchildren, as well as travel. Norman worked at State Corrections, making his way up to Captain, for 37+ years until his retirement.

Norman will be remembered by his wife Anna Mae Steinbaugh; children Daryl Ann (Dave) Lauffer of Gardnerville, Nevada, Neil (Lisa) Steinbaugh of Hamburg and Dawn (Mark) Bradt of Attica; grandchildren, Jessie (Trish) Cook, Nathan (Becky) Steinbaugh, Holly (Evan) Sciorra, Jon-Erik (Brandi) Bradt, and Keli (Anthony) Lana; nephews Eric (Myrian) Steinbaugh, Kurt (Debra) Steinbaugh; six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In death Norman is reunited with his parents, Walter and Carrie Steinbaugh, his brother Nelson (Hilda) Steinbaugh and their son Marc.
 

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, NY. Norman's Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023 at H.E. Turner & Co., Inc. Funeral Home; 403 East Main Street, Batavia, NY, burial will Follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica.
