Batavia - Theresa A.  Lovria, 101 of Batavia passed away on Wednesday, (September 27, 2023) at LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home in LeRoy.

Mrs. Lovria was born June 15, 1922 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Dominick and Laura (Maggione) Tiberio.

Theresa was a long time faithful parishioner of the former St. Anthony's Church in Batavia and was a member of its Altar & Rosary Society, and St. Anne Society. She is also a member of Paulo Busti.

Surviving are her sons, Samuel Lovria, Jr. of LeRoy, Dominic (Janet) Lovria, Richard (Denise) Lovria, Robert (Mary Beth) Lovria all of Batavia, Joseph (Sherri) Lovria of Alexander, and James (Frances) Lovria of Clearwater, Florida. 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

In death, Theresa is reunited with her parents, husband, Samuel Lovria, brother, Nicholas (late Josephine) Tiberio, and sister, Antonette (late Frank) Rose.

There will be no visitation. Family and Friends are invited to attend Theresa's Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday (October 3, 2023) at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish - St. Joseph's Church, 303 East Main Street in Batavia celebrated by Fr. Matthew Zirnheld. Entombment in St. Joseph's Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions in Theresa's name to the Paulo Busti Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
