Ronald V. Foster, 71 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Thursday (January 25, 2024) at his residence under the loving care of his family. 

He was born April 18, 1952, in Niagara Falls, NY, a son of the late Lloyd Foster and Joann Hartman Fearn.

Ron served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1972-1976. He was employed by Rochester Mobile X-Ray prior to his retirement. He enjoyed making stain glass as a hobby. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Shillea Foster of Batavia. Daughters, Erin (Chris) Stack of Batavia, Karli (Heidi) Shillea of Batavia. Grandchildren, Trent (Aspen) Stack, Tatym (Darrius) Stack, Kylie (Tyrone) Shillea, Patience Thomas, Samantha Thomas and Christopher Walsh. Great-grandchild, Prior Stack. Sister in-law, Dawn Sachs. Brother in-law, James (Paula) Dzierzanowski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Wednesday (January 31st) from 4-6pm at the J. LEONARD McANDREW FUNERAL HOME LLC, 2 Bogue Ave., Batavia, NY, where a Celebration of Life Service and Military Honors will commence at 6pm.
