Patti O. Block, 71 of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (April 18, 2024) at her residence.

She was born February 19, 1953 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Walter “Sam” and Constance Tahamont Poodry.

Patti was formerly employed by Greatbatch Corporation in Alden prior to her retirement. She was also a member of the Turtle Clan.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Block and son, Michael Poodry.

Survivors include her sons, Russel Block and Alexander Block, bother of Basom. Sister, Juanita Poodry-Dunn of Batavia. Brother and sister in-law, Kenneth (Nancy) Poodry of Basom. Grandchildren, Michael Smoke, Madison Block and Marisa Block. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Saturday (April 27th) from 1-3pm at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home, LLC, 32 John St., Akron. A funeral service will commence at 3pm following visitation.
