Christopher J. Cook “Chris”, 56 of Basom, passed away unexpectedly on Monday (April 21, 2025) at United Memorial Medical Center.
He was born December 6, 1969 in Buffalo, NY, a son of Kathleen O’Neill and the late Henry H. Cook.
Chris was the operator and owner of Henry H. Cook Plumbing Heating and Electrical Inc. He enjoyed working and was a “jack of all trades”, always keeping busy with something. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy (Starr) Cook. Children, Stefaniee Oneil, Rick Kolmetz and Marc Christopher James Cook. Grandchildren, MarcChristopher, Riley, Trent, Ryder, Kevin and Henry. Siblings, Tracey Cook, Lori (Bill) Penepent, Ryan (Tristan) Cook and Meghan Cook. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts and condolences on Wednesday (April 23rd) from 11am-1pm at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home, LLC, 2 Bogue Ave., Batavia, NY. He will then be laid to rest in the Alabama Cemetery.
