LeRoy ~ In the serenity of the early morning of June 3rd, 2025, surrounded by his wife and daughters, our Lord Jesus Christ embraced Tom as he entered into eternal life.
There were many wonderful attributes that molded Tom into the man he became. From his honesty, loyalty, love and non-judgmental ways, Tom was well loved and respected by all who knew him. He had a gentle, lighthearted spirit, a genuine kindness, and appreciation for life. Tom had many blessings with not only sincere friendships, but had a family who adored him beyond measure. His family always came first. He not only was a loving and dedicated husband and father, but also a proud Poppie to his five grandchildren. He was a sports buff, crossword puzzle extraordinaire, Jeopardy! fan and had a huge passion for golf. He excelled at everything he did, worked hard and never quit.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine, and daughters Sarah (Justin) Jenner and Rebecca (Ritchie) Donnelly along with his grandchildren, Jaxon, Luke, Blake, Lilah and Rose. Along with his wife, children and grandchildren, Tom is survived by his sisters, MaryKay Casey, Sheila Francis, Christine (John) Zinni; his brothers, Michael (Margie), Kevin (Viv), David (Linda) and Tim (Kelly); sister in law, Nancy Bachulak, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tom is predeceased by his parents, Tom and Rita (McElroy), brother John, brother in laws, Thomas Casey, Ronald Francis and Dennis Bachulak and in-laws, Francis and Verley Stone.
Family and friends are invited to Tom’s Rite of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy. Interment will immediately follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
