Opal O. Phelps was born in Weston, WV on June 27, 1932 and went to Heaven, May 21, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband – Robert E. Clemm Sr., her son – Robert E. Clemm Jr., grandson – Isaac Brott, her 2nd husband – Norman Phelps Sr., 10 brothers and sisters and steps-sons - Norman Phelps Jr. and Paul Phelps.
Survived by her children – Connie (Gene) Sharp, Basom, Steven W. (Deborah) Clemm, Tonawanda, Jeffrey S. (Katherine) Clemm, Batavia and Sally Clemm, Cunningham, TN; her grandchildren - JoAnne & Michelle Clemm, Laura Dryden, Jodie (Mark) Weber, Pamela (Alan) Brott, Christina (Jay) Rosenberry, Elizabeth (Patrick) Cerminara, Deborah (Adam) Weil, Katherine Clemm, Robin (Benjamin) Heale, Allison, Brennan, Olivia, & Dylan Clemm. 22 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Also survived by step-children: Karl (Tracey) Phelps, Diane Marie Phelps, Eric (Julie) Phelps, Diane Rose Phelps, Hope (Mike) Gault and several step-grandchildren.
Opal was a member of the Genesee Country Church and worked at Sylvania in Batavia, Kodak and retired from P.W. Minor. She enjoyed traveling and went on several cruises. She was a gifted cake decorator and designed the Wedding cakes for most of the family. She love being a grandma!
Family and friends may call Friday, June 13, 2025 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Genesee Country Church, 3268 Drake Street, Oakfield, NY, with services to follow at 4 p.m.
