Sandra Lee Becker Ammon  September 18, 1946 – June 10, 2025
With deep love and sadness, we share the passing of Sandra Lee Becker Ammon, who departed this world peacefully at home in Corfu, NY, surrounded by those she held most dear.  She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert Ammon. Their devotion to one another was a testament to enduring love, and a legacy for all who knew them.

Sandy dedicated her life to her family and to nurturing others. Her warmth, kindness and compassion filled every room. A loving mother, she leaves behind her children, Jeffrey Ammon and Shari (Anthony) Salim. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kari Ammon (Devin Peak), Samantha (Alex) Cummings, and Jenna Salim (Edward Van Etten). Her love also extended to her cherished niece, Sherry (Josh) Livergood, who held a special place in her heart.

Known for her nurturing spirit, Sandy was more than a caregiver—she was a second mother/grandmother, a source of comfort and a safe haven to countless children over the years. Her quiet strength, gentle humor, and tender heart will be remembered by all whose lives she so deeply touched.
Sandy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Nelson and Corrine Becker, and her dear brother Gary “Starch” Becker, whose memory remained close to her heart.

Sandy will be forever missed, but the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to honor Sandy’s life on June 13, 2025. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at C. B. Beach & Son Mortuary, Inc., 4 East Main Street, Corfu, NY, followed by burial at Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu, NY 14036.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 5:00 PM at One Church, 6 Scotland Drive, Akron, NY — an opportunity to reflect on her beautiful legacy and the love she so freely gave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to the Patricia Allen Fund at Oishei Children’s Hospital, a tribute to her lifelong dedication to children and families.
