Ann P. Falsioni

Ann Pauline Falsioni, 99 of Franklin, TN and formerly of Akron, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday (October 2, 2015) at the Claiborne-Hughes Health Center in Franklin, TN.

She was born in Akron, NY on August 27, 1916, the 6th child in a family of 8 children, daughter of the late Dominic and Rita Paolinelli Falsioni.

Ann was a graduate of Akron High School and worked as a stenographer for the Strippit-Houdaille Co. for 24 years and retiring in 1981. She was a lifetime member of St. Teresa’s R.C. Church and was a longtime volunteer at the Akron-Newstead Senior Center. Ann enjoyed walking, reading and history, and her travels throughout the United States and Europe, especially Italy and Switzerland with her good friend Irma Fox. She was a loyal and lifelong fan of Notre Dame, the N.Y. Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. Ann was always with a happy, upbeat disposition which could be noticed in her wonderful smile.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Andrew, Otto, Leo, Daniel and Peter Falsioni, Mary Medole and Gloria Kruse.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Tuesday (October 6th) from 4-7pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 John St., Akron. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 10:00am at St. Teresa’s R.C. Church, Buell St., Akron. Interment will take place in St. Teresa’s Cemetery.
