Richard Wyburn Scharet Jr.

Richard Wyburn Scharet Jr, age 49, of Castile died on Monday October 5, 2015 from injuries suffered in a truck accident. He was born in Warsaw, New York on August 16, 1966 a son of Richard (Linda) Scharet Sr, of Castile and the late Barbara (Greene) Scharet.

Richard served with the US Army from 1985-1990 Based in Manhiem, Germany.
He was a graduate of Letchworth Central School. He worked at Alstom Signaling for 19 years as a software engineer, and was recently working for Schreiberdale Farms in Perry. Richard was a lifetime member of the Old Orchard Beach Taxpayers association, where he served as President for many years. He enjoyed hunting, boating, four wheeling and playing euchre at the sportsman’s club. He was an outgoing, talkative man who enjoyed doting on his wife and children. He enjoyed his family to the fullest.

He is survived by his Wife of 29 years Elizabeth (Stowell) Scharet; daughters Amanda Scharet of Rochester, Jessica Scharet of Perry and Alexandra Scharet of Castile; father-in-law Clayton “Beeper” (Brenda) Stowell of Silver Springs; sister: Roxanne Scharet of Castile; brother: Robert Scharet of Ocala, Fl.; step-sisters Casey (Jason Rhinehart) Wolcott of Silver Springs, Carey Cartwright of Perry; step-brothers David (Shelly) Connelly of Perry, Daniel (Tina) Connelly of Tampa, Fl.,brothers-in-law William Stowell of Perry, Raymond (Heidi) Stowell of Rochester, David (Kristy) Stowell of Perry, Christopher (Angel) Stowell of Silver Springs, Keith (Bobby) Muhlenbeck of Lockport, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call from 4-8pm on Thursday October 8th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.Funeral services will be held on Friday October 9th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
