James J. Sulzbach

James J. Sulzbach, 68 of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on Monday (October 5, 2015) at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

He was born November 18, 1946 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Walter and Lorraine Albach Sulzbach.

He was the owner of Jim and Bob’s Auto Service in Akron. Jim enjoyed racing and at one time raced at Lancaster Speedway.  He also enjoyed hunting in his spare time.

Survivors include his former wife, Theresa Burdick Coakley. Special companion, Patricia Byerly. Daughter, Deborah (Kenneth Hallman) Jurek of Akron. Grandchildren, Melissa (Jason) Cwiklinski, Melanie (Justin) Wojcik, Matthew, Michael, Nicholas, Noelle, Courtney, Vincent and James Jurek. Great-grandchildren, Noah and Eleanore. Niece, Amy (Jack) Grainy. Nephew, Scott (Jen) Sulzbach.  Several cousins also survive.

Jim was predeceased by his brother, Robert Sulzbach.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Thursday (Oct. 8th) from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 JOHN ST., AKRON, NY. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
