flowers_0.jpgPaula M. Vickery, 60, of Attica passed away peacefully Wednesday October 7, 2015 at her home with her loving family after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Buffalo to the late Salvatore (Paula Franci) Lorigo. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Rosenblatt.

Paula was a teacher’s aide with both the Attica and the Alexander School Districts.  Beyond her love of her grandchildren, family, and friends, Paula was an avid crafter, gardener, and loved by many. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Edward “Ted” Vickery of Attica; son Robert (Andi Rothfuss) Vickery of Batavia; brother Carl (Betty) Rosenblatt of Corning; sister Rose (Joseph) Goren of Cheektowaga, Carol Keiser; sisters-in-law Deborah (Michael) Buckenmeyer of Attica, Sharon (David) Eaton of Lake Havasuaz; brother-in-law Robert (Trudy) Vickery of Clifton Park, along with 3 grandchildren Lucas, Alyssa and Payton Vickery and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 10:00 AM Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 17, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church 115 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. She will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Paula requested memorials be made to the family to be added to a trust for her beloved grandchildren’s education.
