Elizabeth A. "Betty" Pedersen, age 83, of Perry, died on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw where sh had been residing. Betty was born in Perry, New York on August 18, 1932 a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth A. (Simens) Schofield. She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard whom died on July 21, 2009 and a brother: Robert Schofield.

Betty was a graduate of Perry Central School, she worked for many years at the M&T Bank in Perry where she was a personal banking advisor, she retired in 1992. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perry where she was a former treasurer and a former member of the Perry Home Bureau. She enjoyed reading, golfing, traveling to Myrtle Beach, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter: Sally Elizabeth (James) Hare of Warsaw, 4 sons: Roy Richard (Barbara) Pedersen of Bradford, PA., Ronald Dean (Sandra) Pedersen of Wayne, PA., Russell Vincent (Terry) Pedersen of Homer and Eric Jon Pedersen of Perry, a sister: Shirley “Jean” (Chester) Walek of Perry, a brother: William (Irene) Schofield of Perry, a sister-in-law: Patricia Schofield of Perry, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday November 13th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main in Perry.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 14th at the first United Methodist Church 35 Covington St. in Perry at 11:00 A.M.
She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
