SADD hosts county-wide dance for fifth- through eighth-graders at GCC

On Friday, May 8th from 7-9 p.m., Genesee Countywide SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is sponsoring a county-wide dance at Genesee Community College. The dance is open to all fifth- through eighth-graders in Genesee County. Admission at the door is $5.

There will be refreshments available for minimal cost, glow bracelets and necklaces along with a great DJ. So come out and join us for some fun!

SADD sponsors dance for middle schoolers at GCC Forum

SADD will host a dance for middle schoolers (grades 6 thru 9) inside the Genesee Community College Forum from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24.

Cost is $3 for those who wear red, in celebration of Red Ribbon Week, and $5 for those not wearing red. Drinks and popcorn will be available at a low cost.

All proceeds will go to Genesee Countywide SADD.

SADD fundraiser this Friday night -- bowling at Mancuso's

SADD -- Students Against Destructive Driving -- is holding a fundraiser night of bowling at the Mancuso Bowling Center from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 25.

Cost is $12.50 per person and includes two hours of bowling and shoe rental. The bowling center is at 214 E. Main St. in Downtown Batavia.

Pre-register by calling the Genesee County Youth Bureau at 344-3960.

Half of the profits will go to the countywide SADD chapter, which is supported by GC STOP-DWI & the Youth Bureau.

 

SADD Car Wash to Benefit the Michael Napoleone Foundation

Genesee Countywide Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is sponsoring a FREE car wash at the Bank of Castile (next to Denny's) on Main Street in Batavia from 1-5 pm.  Any and all donations will benefit the Michael Napoleone Foundation.  The MNF will also have merchandise for sale.

Call the Genesee County Youth Bureau at 344-3960 for more information.  Genesee Countywide SADD is a prevention program of Genesee County STOP-DWI administered through the Youth Bureau.

Free car washes offered by SADD at Center of Attention

Larry Dewitt and Lauren Paluta give a car a free car wash at Center of Attention Auto Spa on Park Road (next to Alex's Place).

Owner Dan Kemp opened up his shop today to members of SADD so they could offer free car washes to anybody who brings a vehicle by. A donation, of course, is requested, either in cash or in school supplies.

The car wash is on until 2 p.m. today.

Dancing Derrick is also there.
