A person reportedly suffered a minor hand injury in an accident in the area of 6131 Ellicott Street Road, Bethany.

A car has reportedly hit a tree in the area of 1059 Ledge Road, Alabama.
The initial report is minor injuries though the driver can't get out of the car.

A motor-vehicle accident with unknown injuries is reported in the ara of 3371 Maltby Road, between Fox Road and North Pearl Road, in Oakfield.

UPDATE 4:17 p.m.: An Oakfield chief requests Mercy EMS continue to the scene for evaluation of one patient.
An ambulance has been dispatched to the toll booths on the New York State Thruway in Pembroke for an employee who has reportedly suffered an electrical shock.
No word on the extent of injuries, if any.
Pembroke and Indian Falls fire departments also responding.
UPDATE 3:11 p.m.: The patient suffered minor burns on her fingers and was transported to ECMC. She was plugging something in to an electric outlet when she was shocked.
A semi-truck driver lost control of his rig on Ellicott Street Road in Bethany at about 9 o'clock this morning and slid off the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
The accident was in the area of 5902 Ellicott Street Road.

A tractor-trailer has been reported on Route 77 in Darien, just south of the Darien Fire Hall.
No injuries are reported, but the roadway is blocked.
UPDATE 3:46 p.m.: Darien's fire police requested to Route 77 and Route 20 to shut down northbound traffic.
UPDATE 3:49 p.m.: Corfu requested to shut down southbound traffic at Route 33 and Route 77.
UPDATE 3:53 p.m.: A responder reports, "you've got tractor-trailers lined up Route 77." The initial caller left the scene. It's possible the original jackknifed truck was assisted by passersby. It should like slick road conditions are causing problems for other trucks.
UPDATE 3:56 p.m.: A responder reports, "what we have here is a car hauler stuck on the road. It remains to be seen if he can get out of here." Traffic is being shut down to give the Highway Department a "chance to catch up." It appears to be just the one car hauler stuck at this time.
A one-car accident with injuries is reported at the intersection of Alexander (Route 98) and Goodman roads, Alexander. Alexander Fire Department and medics are responding.

UPDATE 6:09 p.m.: Police believe the Nissan, which was eastbound, started a left-hand turn into the Tops parking lot and then the driver changed his or her mind but failed to negotiate fully back into its own lane of traffic. The Nissan struck a car, front left fender to front left fender, that was stopped to make a left-hand turn into the shopping center on the south side of West Main. The Nissan then careened into a third vehicle. Two people were transported to UMMC for evaluation.
STORY UPDATED AT 5:32 p.m.
A semi-truck hauling potatoes and a passenger vehicle collided at about 1:15 p.m. today at the intersection of Lockport Road and Route 98 in Elba and as a result of the accident two people died.
The victims are Franca C. Monachino, 45, of Hilton, and Jerry E. Tuttle, 29, of Kingley, Pa.
State Police investigators believe Monachnio was driving a 2013 Honda Civic westbound on Lockport Road and failed to yield at the intersection of Route 98. Tuttle, in a 2004 Peterbilt hauling potatoes, was northbound.
Both vehicles went off the west shoulder of Route 98 and became entangled in high-voltage electrical lines. Firefighters were unable to check on the victims until National Grid arrived on the scene, about 30 minutes after the accident, and shut off power to the lines.
The operators were deceased at the scene and there were no other victims.
Troopers were assisted by Elba fire, Mercy EMS, Sheriff's Office, National Grid, Genesee County coroner, NYSP Commercial Enforcement Unit, NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
A tractor-trailer rollover accident with possible multiple vehicles involved is reported on Route 98 and Lockport Road in Elba.
The roadway is closed.

UPDATE(S) (By Billie) 1:56 p.m.: Route 98 is closed at Old Oak Orchard Road and Lockport Road is closed in both directions. There is a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle involved and they are entangled in power lines. The roadways will be closed for an extended period of time.

It might be with injury, but a dispatcher says there is a language barrier with the caller.

A van crashed into a pole on West Main Street near Settler's Restaurant in Batavia. Driver is unconscious. Law enforcement is called in emergency mode. City fire and Mercy medics are responding. The address is 350 W. Main St.
UPDATE 5:15 a.m.: National Grid will be notified that the pole is damaged.
UPDATE 5:43 a.m.: One person was transported to UMMC. National Grid has a 10-15 minute ETA.
Minor injuries are reported in a car vs. semi-truck accident at Route 77 and Route 6 in Pembroke.
Firefighters were needed to pry a door open to extricate a passenger.
A woman had a complaint of chest pain.

A tractor-trailer overturned on the Thruway at about 10 a.m. and though there were no injuries, the accident created traffic delays through Le Roy.
Due to a fuel spill, both westbound lanes were blocked for a time.
State Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
