Dewitt Pond trail

Today on my daily bike jaunt I happened to stop at Dewitt Pond for a water break before continuing my ride. I from my vantage point noticed the trail now is a almost complete circle around the pond, (save about a six foor section). It now makes for a nice ride/walk along the fresh water pond, some parts of the trail are still a work in progress and kind of rough for road bikes.
On my ride I noticed a strong smell of sewage coming from the drain on the west end of the pond,It seemed strange to me that raw sewage of the like are somehow entering the fresh water pond? How could this be allowed to happen? Im sure this needs to be investigated soon as people are eating fish caught in the pond. It has occured to me that a broken line (sewage line) might be the culprit or some other source of this violation that upsets this otherwise nice area.
The county has done a great job on the finishing touches of this now park, they should be apladuded.
