Kastenbaum knocks GOP nomination speech by Collins

By Howard B. Owens

Press release:

Tonight, Rep. Chris Collins will address the Republican National Convention and will “second” Donald Trump’s Republican Party nomination for President. Pinnacle Manufacturing CEO Diana Kastenbaum, Collins’s Democratic Party opponent for Congress, issued the following statement:

“At the RNC Convention tonight, Rep. Chris Collins, the first Congressman to endorse Donald Trump, will address millions of Americans with more empty political rhetoric. I can guarantee that Collins won’t speak about his vote to underfund Veterans Affairs by $1.4 billion or his pledge to have a 100% pro-life voting record. I’m offended that Collins does not support our Vets, and I’m equally offended that Collins has not stood up to Trump for his outlandish remarks against women made over the course of the Republican Party Primary. We can do better.”

You know, the one thing I've never understood was the comments I've heard countless personalities make about Hillary Clinton being "a great liar", or a "consummate" liar.

Uh... No! A great liar is seldom caught. I don’t even think she's a "good" liar. She's been caught far too many times, lying ON CAMERA, to (in my estimation) be called anything but a "serial liar".

Nope! If I were to look out the window and see everyone walking around with an umbrella, and hear Hillary say it was raining outside, I'd probably decide to leave my umbrella behind (and figure everyone else was either a Democrat, or, just trying to keep the sunlight off their noggin).

THAT'S how much store I put in her words.

back to the press release, the last sentence "We can do better" is too late. our selection of candidates for the most powerful position in the united states is plain awful. every day I think to myself, out of all the eligible people in this country, these are the two best candidates that they can come up with. I say "they" for I can not figure out who to blame. in 4 years, if we are still around, maybe then we can do better. keep your fingers crossed folks.
