Rep. Chris Collins, who was the first member of Congress to endorse Donald Trump for president, has been named to the executive committee of the Trump transition team, according to NBC journalist Frank Thorp.
Thorp posted a screen shot of a memo on Twitter.
The team is comprised of elected officials, business leaders and family members.

Even many ranking Republicans scratched their head when Collins was the 1st Congressman to publicly support Donald Trump. I also was shocked by it. I couldn't understand his motive... still can't, other than that Collins took a gamble and it paid off.
