The Museum Quilt Guild of Batavia will meet from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, February 15, in the auditorium of the VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Ave.
There will be a short business meeting followed by a member's "show and tell" of finished projects.
The special guest speaker will be Christine Wickert of Penfield who will present a lecture/trunk show "Learning from the Masters - Continuing the Journey." Christine is an accomplished quilter and has won numerous awards including Best of Show (2013) at the AQS Show in Lancaster and most recently, a ribbon at the International Quilt Festival 2013 in Houston. Her favorite techniques are hand applique and hand quilting.
