We are having a benefit for Robbie Burdick that will feature a Vendor Blender, Chinese Auction, Rummage Sale and a Bake Sale with the hopes of raising enough money to help Robbie Burdick and his family to get a wheelchair van to accommodate his motorized wheelchair. A wheelchair van will allow a new found freedom for Robbie to explore the world around him within the confines of his wheelchair. It will also help to transport Robbie to his numerous medical appointments. Robbie was born with spondlyoepimetapheaseal dysplasia with joint laxity type one. This is a connective tissue disease that has left Robbie on a ventilator with a tracheotomy breathing tube, a g/j feeding tube for nutrition and medicine administration (Robbie goes to buffalo children’s hospital every two weeks to have his feeding tube placed in radiology). Robbie has had numerous surgeries in 2014 to put spinal rods in his back to assist in controlling his life threatening scoliosis that was caused by his disease that was causing pressure on his lungs and rib cage. Robbie continues to be followed by numerous doctors in regards to his health and ever changing disease process. “Rally For Robbie” Benefit Date: April 16, 2016 Time: 9am – 5pm Location: Genessee County ARC Community Center 38 Woodrow Rd.
