Cody Towner, a former Town of Batavia fire volunteer, joined 226 other cadets today as the latest graduates of the Basic School of the New York State Police Academy. The cadets are the 204th graduating class.

Towner will join Troop C, based in Sydney.

You unintentionally insulted "Trooper" Towner Irene, NYS Troopers don't cotton much to being called "Officer".

I know this to be a fact from the time I served on the Grand Jury, they WILL correct you if you call them anything other than "Trooper".

From Wikipedia: [I apologize for any grammatical error]

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" is a frequently referenced part of William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet ... The reference is often used to imply that the names of things do not affect what they really are."
