Reader Photos: A herd of deer in the city
Yesterday, Lorri Goergen, of North Spruce Street, Batavia, showed me these pictures on her iPad. It's a herd of deer that appeared in her backyard the day before -- in the city, on Spruce Street.

Nice photos! I thought it was a lot with the 4 running around Lambert Park last week, but that herd is big! I bet they wandered in from the College Rd. woods - I've spotted 30+ at a time out in the fields there...
