Mrs. Julia G. Easton

Oakfield - Julia G. Easton, 93, of Oakfield, longtime and devoted member of St. Padre Pio Parish in Oakfield, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Batavia.

Mrs. Easton was born November 29, 1925 in Oakfield, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Matla Mikolajczyk.

She is survived by her husband, Wilbur F.  Easton, whom she married May 17, 1947; her children; Doreen (Howard) Johns of Oakfield; Gerald (Bernadette) Easton of Basom, Marianne (Richard) Cupler of Pavilion and John R. (Kim) Easton of Akron; eight grandchildren; Robert (Kathy) Johns, Juliette (Tim) Hyatt, Lynette (Michael) Morris, Eric Easton, Shawn (Nicole) Easton, Emily Easton, Andrea Easton and Sara Cupler; five great-grandchildren; Nash & Peyton Johns, Lucas & Derrick Hyatt and Garrett Morris and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Anna, Hank, Victor and Frank Mikolajczyk.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecilia's Worship Site, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. She will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Oakfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Padre Pio Parish, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, New York 14125.
