  Valerie V. DiFalco, 95, of Batavia passed away peacefully on Friday Febraury 19, 2021 at the United Memorial Medical Center. She was born on November 23, 1925 in Buffalo to the late Peter and Ida (Schiavi) Sinibaldi. In addition to her parents, Valerie is predeceased by her husband; Sebastian DiFalco in 1995; siblings Richard (Millie) Sinibaldi, Victoria (Joseph) Piccolo, Jimmy Sinibaldi and Catherine (Joseph) Colantonio.

Valerie worked for 30 years at Mancuso Plumbing and for many years as an Accountant at OTB in Batavia. She was an avid bowler until she was 92 years old. Valerie was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. She loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed entertaining her friends and family.

She is survived by her sister; Mary (Tom) Adams of E. Bethany, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.  

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 from 4-7PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held and Valerie will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum in Batavia.
The funeral home will be operating at 50% of its capacity during visitation due to COViD 19 restrictions. Face coverings and social distancing are mandatory. Thank you for your cooperation.
