Francis J. "Frank" Schreiber

  Francis J. "Frank" Schreiber, age 64, of Castile, passed away on Thursday April 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Rochester, New York on November 5, 1951 a son of the Helen (Stein) Schreiber of Webster and the late William Schreiber.  Along with his father he is preceded in death by a son Duane who died in 1993, a sister Gene Braselton, and brother Peter Schreiber.

He was a graduate of Aquinas Institute of Rochester, Alfred State College, and received his Bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin at Platteville.  Frank was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry, the Knights of Columbus John Paul Chapter, Farm Bureau where he was a past President, and the Holstein Association. He enjoyed boating, skiing both snow and water, traveling, going for rides with the guys, and spending time with family.

Frank is survived by his wife whom he married on April 27, 1974 Diane (Reynolds) Schreiber, 2 sons: Eric (Lynnell) Schreiber of Perry and Steven (Joanne) Schreiber of Castile, a sister: Annie (Pepe) Neubauer of Naples, 3 brothers: William (Maureen) Schreiber Jr. of Newtown, Pa., Louis (Carol) Schreiber and Daniel (Clare) Schreiber both of Ontario, 4 grandchildren: Lacey, Connor, Abigail and Matthew Schreiber, along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 7:00-9:00PM on Monday April 25, 2016 and from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM on Tuesday April 26th at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, New York 14530. An 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry on Wednesday April 27th. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Perry.
