Batavia - Eric Fairbanks, 37, of Batavia, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at United Memorial Medical Center.
Eric was born July 5, 1979 in Batavia, a son of Lester Fairbanks of Batavia and Judy Schoenthal Sanders of Batavia.
An avid fan of the New York Yankees, he loved spending time with his family; especially his nieces and nephews.
Surviving along with his parents are three brothers; Jeremy (Leah Kelly) Fairbanks of Batavia, Todd (Mary) Fairbanks of Bergen, and Brad Fairbanks of Batavia; grandparents, Lowell J. (late Elaine) Fairbanks of Batavia and Edwin (Sally) Schoenthal, both of Batavia; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours for Eric will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where his funeral will immediately follow visitation at 4 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia. All are welcome to greet the family and share a time of fellowship at the V.F.W. Post No. 1602 at 25 Edwards Street, Batavia at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
