Age 88, of Batavia, died Wednesday morning May 22, 2013 at Rochester General Hospital. She was born May 29, 1924 in Batavia, NY to the late Emil & Rose (Vendetta) Marone, also preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Merritt in 1963 and James E. White Jr. in 2013; brother, Emil "Buster" Marone and sister, Angeline Marone
Connie was a wonderful, caring mother and enjoyed her dog, Maggie.
Surviving are her loving children, Larry (Michelle Calick) Merritt II, Robert Merritt all of Batavia and Patricia (Wayne Arth) Merritt of Florida; step-daughter, Sherre (Vic) Maile of Batavia; brothers, Paul (Esther) Marone, Dominic Marone all of Batavia, John (Jane) Marone of Lancaster; sisters, Marie Starling and Geraldine Rowcliff both of Florida; granddaughter, Corinne Edelstein and grandson, Chris Boyd along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services 11:00 AM Saturday May 25, 2013 at the Father T. Bernard Kelly Mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Connie's memory are suggested to the family to be distributed to various charities.
