DALE D. RUMBLE SR.

DALE D. RUMBLE SR. Age 80, of Batavia, died peacefully Saturday morning January 11, 2014 at the Batavia VA Medical Center. He was born July 15, 1933 in Oakfield to the late Alfred and Amy (Howard) Rumble, also preceded in death by his brothers, Howard, Donald, Wayne, Robert & Kenneth.

   Mr. Rumble is a United States Army Veteran, retired from Chapin Manufacturing and was a member of City Church. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, clock collector, played 4,4,4 in the lotto, loved his cat, Sammie and watching his soap opera, The Young & the Restless. His family will remember how he was a friend to all and touched everyone he met.

   Mr. Rumble is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan M. (Perkins) Rumble of Batavia; sons, Dale D. (Gloria) Rumble Jr. and Randy (Diana) Rumble both of Batavia; daughters, Teresa Rumble of Batavia, Barb Snyder of Oakfield and Michelle Wheatley of Batavia; sister, Glenda Klase of Oakfield; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren  along with many nieces and nephews.

   Family and friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday January 15, 2014 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where funeral services and military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday January 16. Burial will be in Cary Cemetery, Oakfield and memorials in his memory can be made to the family.
