Rose B. Sinare, 96 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (October 9, 2018) at the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia.

She was born August 6, 1922, in Batavia, a daughter of the late Anthony Battaglia and Rose Pulvino.

Rose was a member of St. Theresa’s Church in Spring Hill, Florida and was a board member for various charities. During her years in Florida, she was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony C. Sinare who died on April 3, 2011.

Survivors include her daughter, Bernadette (Charles) Penfield of Batavia. Grandchildren, Susan (Daniel) Boss of Brockport, Shari (Chris) Ange of Batavia and Eric (Colleen) Johnson of Albany. Great-grandchildren, Courtney (Dan Ognibene) Boss, Amanda (A.J. Frank) Boss, Kaitlin Ange, Nicholas Ange, Connor Johnson, Allison Johnson and Olivia Johnson.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
