Joseph "Joe" Bailey

posted by T.J. Woodward.

Joseph “Joe” Bailey, 38, of Lavergne, TN, passed away unexpectedly at Buffalo General Hospital on October 5, 2019. He was born on August 30, 1981 in Batavia, NY to Royal and Mary (Lavarnway) Bailey.

Joe was a graduate of Attica High School. He earned his degree in Auto and Diesel Mechanics in Tennessee, where he has resided for the last 16 years. Joe was one of a kind who was full of life and laughter. He was a family man who devoted all his time to his wife and children. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan who always had to play “The Bills make me want to shout” after each win. He had a love of music, attending many concerts and festivals with his DFC Family (close friends). He was also known for his sweet dance moves. Joe was always positive, seeing the best in everyone and never worrying what anyone thought of him. He would give you the shirt off his back.

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his wife, Christine “Crissy”, his three wonderful children, Aydin, Kyler, and Zoey; his brothers, Daniel (Darlene) Bailey and Michael (Dawn) Bailey; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 11 am- 2 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Marley Funeral Home, LLC, 135 Main St., Attica, NY 14011. A Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Joe’s family asks that you would consider a donation to the family for the children and expenses.
