Robert G. Beyer

Brockport - Robert G. Beyer passed away on February 6, 2020 on this 94th birthday after a brief illness.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen; daughter, Vivian Chapell; and son-in-law, Roy Tennity. 

He is survived by his sister, Eunice Miner; son, Robert (Norma) Beyer; daughters, Doris (Jarl) Boyst, Deborah Tennity; son-in-law, Terry Chapell.  10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.

Robert was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War earning a Bronze Star during World War II.  He was able to travel on Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in 2005 and the World War II Museum in New Orleans with the Gary Sinese Foundation in October of 2019. 

Family and Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake St. in Bergen.  Robert's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 18 Gibson St. in Bergen.  Burial with military honors will be in the spring in St. Brigid's Cemetery in Bergen.
