Alexander – Margaret “Peggy” Russell (Morton, McCandless), passed away February 25th, 2020.
She was born March 20, 1950 and lived in PA (where many family members remain) until moving to NY in the late 70’s. Peggy was a retired nurse and raised dogs for more than 30 years. Her Golden Babies and her Grandchildren (all family) were her whole world.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Russell and was the very loved Mom, Nana and Step Mom to Michelle, Kerry, Joshua, Delaney and Conner Kelsey - Keith, Tracy Dean, Keith 111 and Paige Morton - Jeff, Sheryl, Anna and Joe Montgomery – Michael, Wendy, Tiffany and Rachael Russell – Heather, Jim, Jesse and Emma Scripp and out of State children; George, Roger, Diane, Amy and Jim.
Services will be private at the convenience of her family. Contributions in her memory are suggested to Alexander Fire Department – EMS, P.O. Box 336, Alexander, NY 14005.
