John "Brad" Stangrover

John “Brad” Stangrover, 90 of Cowlesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo. He was born September 3, 1930 in Cowlesville to the late George F. (Frances Vinning) Stangrover. He is preceded in death by a brother George Stangrover and step-son Ernest Carney.

Mr. Stangrover is a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country. He owned and operated the Tipperary in Attica with his wife Lena Belle.

He is survived by his wife Lena Belle (Bailey) Stangrover of Cowlesville, step-sons, Richard (Doreen) Carney of Bennington, Donald (Maria) Carney of Stroudsburg, PA, Garry (Lori) Carney of Windgap, PA, Gregory (Renee) Carney of Ohio, sister Jean Foster of AZ, brother Graham Stangrover of CA, 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours, a Celebration of Life will be determined for a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. He will be laid to rest in Cowlesville Cemetery.
