Splendora M. DiSanto

  Splendora M. DiSanto, 97, of Batavia passed away peacefully on January 12, 2023.  She was born in Oakfield on September 21, 1925 to the late Domenico and Ida (Comino) Moretti. In addition to her parents, Splendora is predeceased by her husband; Anthony DiSanto of 40 years of marriage. 

Splendora owned her own beauty shop, Splendora's, and was a beautician until she retired at 73.  She loved her family and friends and enjoyed special holiday meals with her family.  Her specialties were lemon meringue pie and chocolate topped cream puffs.  

She is survived by her children George DiSanto, Dawn DiSanto, and David DiSanto (who passed away in 2019).  She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael (Jessica Veeder) DiSanto, and Jonathan (Sherrity Buckel) DiSanto, and her great-grandchildren Jevan, Emily, Kady, Joshua, Jayce, Rainier, and Corbin DiSanto, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. 

There will be no prior calling hours. A 12:00PM Graveside Service will be held on Saturday January 21, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum on Ellicott St. in Batavia.
