Clarence was a proud union member of IBEW local 1249. His job took him and his family across the country, eventually ending up back in Western New York. He carried memberships in the Our Lady of Batavia Council 11728 Knights of Columbus, where he was a 4th Degree Knight, Moose Lodge, Elks Club, and the Grange. Up until last year he served as usher at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary's Site). Every Sunday he would open the church about 2 hours early and stay busy organizing all the books, filling the holy water bowls, setting up the table for the gifts and shoveling snow when need be!!

His energy levels up to age 90 were unbelievable! The work he was still able to accomplish up to this age was nothing short of miraculous. He kept going and going and going until he tired his body right out after 90 1/2 years. As he pondered his life one day, he said "I think I overdosed on work!"  Anyone who knows him will shake their head in agreement with his conclusion.

Please join the family to Celebrate his Mass of Christian Burial 11am Thursday February 14, 2019 at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary’s Site), he will be laid to rest with his wife in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. It brought her a great deal of joy and energy; especially her oldies but goodies. Janet's love for family was unmeasurable. Her goals in life were simple: to be a good wife, homemaker, and mother. She was happiest when she was with her children & grandchildren or just knowing her children were together and having fun and it always brought her a smile when she knew her grandchildren were doing well and having fun too.

"Mom was the best caregiver any child could have", her son shares. She will be greatly missed for all of these things and more.
