Genesee County will soon be graced with two fantastic celestial events and Dan Schneiderman of the Rochester Museum of Science Center is heading our way to tell us everything we need to know! Join Dan for a FREE public talk being held at the Holland Land Office Museum on September 12th at 6pm as he discusses the science & history of solar eclipses and how to prepare for this extraordinary astronomical opportunity.

On Saturday, October 14th, 2023, our region will experience a partial solar eclipse. This is just a warm-up for the big event on April 8th, 2024, when we’ll be in the direct path of a total solar eclipse for the first time in almost a century.
