Financial services firm Edward Jones ranks highest in investor satisfaction with full-service brokerage firms, according to the J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study (SM), the firm recently announced.

The study measures overall investor satisfaction with 18 full-service investment firms based on eight factors, including financial advisor, account information, investment performance, firm interaction, product offerings, commissions and fees, information resources, and problem resolution. The firm scored 853 in overall satisfaction, 18 points over the industry average.

The financial services firm Edward Jones recently was named the No. 1 large company on the "Best Companies to Work for in New York" ranking, according to Michael R. Marsh, the local financial advisor.

The New York State Society for Human Resource Management teamed up with the Best Companies Group of Harrisburg, Pa., to rank the state's top 75 employers. Companies named Best Companies to Work for in New York for 2019 were divided into 26 large companies, 23 medium companies and 26 small-sized companies by the number of people they employ in the United States.

The ranking is based on an employer inventory of practices and an anonymous survey of associates, who were asked to agree or disagree with dozens of statements about the firm, teamwork and their individual experience at the firm. Local residents and businesses may help those less fortunate in the community by bringing in items to the Edward Jones branch office during regular business hours from Thursday, Oct. 1st to Thursday, Nov. 19th.

The items needed for the food drive include: canned and boxed items such as cereal, pasta sauce, peanut butter -- of which they are currently low in stock. Canned fruits, vegetables, gravy, soups, pasta and canned meats are always needed. potatoes, pasta, desserts, and gravy.

Michael R. Marsh, financial advisor at the Batavia office of Edward Jones, recently won the firm's coveted Zeke McIntyre Pioneer Award. It recognizes new financial advisors who achieve high levels of success early in their careers with the financial services firm.

Marsh was one of only 405 of the firm's more than 13,000 financial advisors to receive the award.

Jim Weddle, the firm's managing partner, said the award is a strong indicator of a financial advisor's future success.
