Kazzrie Jaxen Quartet

The Kazzrie Jaxen Quartet brings together the elemental qualities of four creative jazz musicians: the buoyant lighter-than-air swing of Bill Chattin’s drums; the earthy melodic pulsations of Don Messina’s bass; the oceanic depth of Charley Krachy’s tenor; and the fiery adventurousness of Kazzrie Jaxen’s piano.

June 14, 2015 – 2nd Annual Concert of Rejoicing at Faith Community Chapel, 
4131 Rose Road, Batavia, NY. 6pm to 8pm, an evening of music performed by choirs, duets, soloists and audience participation included to encourage all. There will be coffee/punch and goodies to follow. A free will offering will be taken with all proceeds going to Crossroads House.

Back by popular demand!  Singer-songwriters Natalia Zukerman and Adrianne Gonzalez (AG) bring their talent and magic from NYC and LA, respectively, to the Byron-Bergen High auditorium for a concert to benefit programming at the Gillam-Grant Community Center.  Tickets are $15 advance sale and $20 at the door.  Call The Center at 494-1621 for info.  

GCC's own Beata Golec will be performing piano music of the 20th and 21st centuries, including original compositions.  Dr. Golec improvises, playing not only on the keyboard but also inside the piano using other objects such as paper and hardware-a technique first introduced by Henry Cowell and John Cage.  Tickets:$8/$5/$3 may be purchased online at boxoffice@genesee.edu, by pone at 345-6814 or in person at the GCC Box Office.

Los Angeles singer-songwriter Adrianne Gonzalez returns to Genesee County for a solo concert in the Byron-Bergen High School auditorium.  Her music has been featured on TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and In Plain Sight, and she has played with Bonnie Raitt, Tegan and Sara, and Jeff Buckley.  Adrianne also is one of the four musicians who make up the indie-rock group The Rescues.

L.A. singer-songwriter Garrison Starr returns to Batavia for one night only and is joined in concert with Adrianne Gonzalez (of The Rescues).  They will perform at 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Harvester 56 Theater in the Artisan Center, Batavia.
