Bernice was born September 9, 1925 in Batavia, a daughter of the late John and Clara Haller Kelley.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, sewing and gardening. She worked part time for many years at the Daily News. Bernice and her husband Henry, who preceded her in death on September 25, 2019, enjoyed a love of the great outdoors; boating, fishing, skiing, hunting, camping with their grandchildren and traveling in their motor home. Bernice and Henry were avid square dancers and belonged to the Batavia Twirlers.

Survivors include her daughters: Christine (Charles) Kuehl of East Bethany and Barbara (Paul) Hart of San Antonio, Texas; a son , David Klein of Groveland, Florida; six granddaughters; Jennifer Nagelhout, Stacey (Kelly) Mileham; Melissa (Christopher) Lacey, Ruth (Roger) Rodriguez, Amy (George)DeRosa, Paula (JR) Rodriguez; ten great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law Daisy Klein, and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers Benjamin (Patricia) Kelley, Charles (Sally) Kelley, and sister Florence (Robert) Landcastle.

Friends may call from 5-7 pm on Thursday, September 2 at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Mary’s Church, 18 Ellicott St, Batavia at 10:00 am Friday, September 3, 2021. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Corfu - Patrick  E. Lewis, 52  of Corfu, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Surviving are his wife; Susan E. Junga Lewis; his children; Josh (Nicole) Lewis  of Webster, Karlee Lewis of Corfu and Makenzie Lewis of Gilbert, Arizona; his granddaughter; Tessa Lewis of Webster; siblings; Christopher (Angie) Lewis of Maryland, Kelli Berrios of Florida and Heather (Frank) Markowski of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews.

There are no prior visiting hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Beverly was born July 3, 1948 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Robert and Rita (Dudwick) Kendall.

Beverly enjoyed cooking and sewing.  

Surviving are her husband, Dennis Baumgarte of Batavia; son, Scott Baumgarte of Batavia; daughter, Lisa (Larry, Jr.) Wenner of Lovettsville, VA; grandchildren, Isabelle, Jacob, Larry III and Chase; daughter-in-law, Jessica Baumgarte of Middletown; brother, Bob (Nancy) Kendall of Batavia; sisters, Debbie Kendall of Batavia, Doreen Kendall of Lancaster and Bonnie Kendall of Strykerville and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her sons, Kevin Baumgarte and Brian Baumgarte.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where Beverly's service will be held at 9:30 a.m. also on Saturday, September 4.  She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Batavia.  A reception will be held at the VFW in Batavia at the conclusion of Beverly's services.

She was born February 26, 1933 in Buena Vista, GA, a daughter of the late Earnest and Pennie Donnan Brown.

Martha’s presence put joy in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 25 years, George Reddix and sister, Mattie Prather.

Survivors include her two children, Curtis (Tessie) Brown and Emma (William) Morrison. Sister, Nora Smith and two brothers, Cleveland Brown and Willie Brown. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

She was born May 23, 1924 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late John and Euphemia Kirkland Hannah.

In her early ears, she was responsible for publishing the technical materials from the Engineering Department at Bell Aircraft. An accomplished artist, she enjoyed exhibiting her work in many WNY art shows.

After raising her family, she pursued her dream and in 1985 received her MFA from the University at Buffalo. Her other interests included photography, gardening and bird watching.

Although never wanting pets of her own, a special bond developed with her little grand-dog Bitsy, who enjoyed riding in her lap around the nursing home.

She was the beloved mother of Jackie (Mark) Krueger, Suzette (Richard) Travis and Phillip (Mary Ann) LeClaire. Loving grandmother of Ken (Carrie) McCoy, Ben (Erin Wetter) Plaza and Leenna (Garth) Schulte. Step-grandmother of Aaron (Robin) Krueger, Michele Farrell, Mike (Nicole) Farrell and Jessica Farrell; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by cousin Connie (Bob) Berry, many nieces and nephews. Dear longtime friend Barbara Barone. Anita Pawlak, who cared for mom while still home, became and remained a close friend. Heidi (David) Pasqualini, family friend with whom she shared a special friendship.

June was predeceased by her loving brother John Hannah.

To the Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, a heartfelt thank you for the almost 5 years of wonderful care. Thank you also to Hospice Buffalo for guidance and care these past few months.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Stafford ~ Mary Louise Vicary-Reinegal, age 83, of Main Road, passed away July 30, 2021 at home in the loving presence of her family.

     Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.  She was a well known and successful business owner in the real estate market.

     She is survived by her second husband, William Reinegal; daughter, Charlotte (Matthew) Maser; sister, Fran Platek; brother-in-law, David Vicary, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     Mary Lou was predeceased by her first husband, William Vicary; her daughter, Lisa Marie Burch; her sister, Jennie Manfredi and sister-in-law, Nina Vicary.

     Services and interment were held privately.

Lois was a great woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She treasured her family, to whom her generosity knew no bounds. Lois was an awesome mix of boundless love, and extraordinary toughness.  She raised her children and grandchildren with a strong steady hand.  

Lois was a tireless worker, and spent many days side-by-side with her husband in home improvement and maintenance projects.  She kept an immaculate house, decorated with her crafts, and delicately painted ceramics. She loved a regular Settler’s breakfast surrounded by friends and family; a spicy episode of Judge Judy; and a Bills win!

She is survived by her daughters; Cherie (Jamie) Egloff of Oakfield and Robyn (Mark) Godwin of Corfu; sisters Jean Coleman and Florence Lovelady both of Whitesville, NY; grandchildren, Bradley and Melissa Shaughnessy, Krisha Godwin, 2 great grandchildren Viktoria and Reagan, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be held privately for the family. She will be laid to rest in Cary Cemetery in Oakfield.

Oakfield - Glendalee Klase, 77 of Oakfield passed away on Monday, (August 23, 2021) at Orchard Rehab and Nursing Center in Medina.

Ms. Klase was born July 27, 1944 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Alfred and Amy (Howard) Rumble.

Glendalee enjoyed watching racing, caring for her birds and dog, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Darryl Rumble of Oakfield, and Linda (Mike) Fitzsimmons of Basom; grandchildren, Philip, Tiffany, Matthew, and Corey.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Howard, Don, Dale, Kenny, Wayne, and Bob.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, (August 30th, 2021)  from 11:00 am  to 1:00 pm  at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue in Oakfield, where Glendalee's Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation. Joe will be remembered as a fun, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a great friend to many. He loved cooking out on the grill, hanging out with friends and working out.
He is survived by his sons Ryan (Natayla) Corcimiglia and Nicholas Corcimiglia; his daughter Natalie (Brian) Jeide and granddaughters, Maddyn Corcimiglia, Emelia Jeide and soon to be grandson; his siblings, Anthony Corcimiglia and Teresa (Dean) Pierce, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Corcimiglia Sr. in 2020, his mother Gale Corcimiglia in 2021 and brother Mark E. Corcimiglia in 2021.
There will be no prior visitation, a celebration of life with occur at a later date.

George was born February 14, 1932 in Batavia, a son of the late Anson and Florence (Ferguson) Forsyth.

George was a former member of the Town of Batavia Fire Department, Oakfield Lions Club and the Committee Men Genesee County Extension Services.  He served as a councilman from 1960-1979 and was a farmer for Hi-Vu Acres in Oakfield.

Surviving are his daughters, Deborah (William) Fries of Oakfield and Sandra (Robert) Wells of Corfu; his longtime companion, Ellen Southall of Batavia; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son, Daniel Forsyth, brothers, Rodney Forsyth and James Forsyth and sisters, Virginia Shera, Celia Maykuth, Joan White and Elinor Rice.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. also on Saturday.  George will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery in Batavia.

LeRoy ~ Dorothy Mae Leo, age 84, of Genesee Street, passed away late Monday evening, (August 23, 2021) at home in the loving presence of her family.

     She was born May 6, 1937 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Lester Earl and Hazel Mae Hillyard.

     Dorothy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend to many.  Nothing was more important to her than her family.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, camping, taking road trips and working on ceramics.

    She will be sadly missed by her children; Mickey Beck, Debi (Dave) Trommer, Kim (Tom) Mooney, Gigi (Butch) Mattice, Dawn (Dave) Myers and Brian (Nicole) Leo; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her sister, Gail Tuite; sister-in-law, Barbara Hillyard, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 26 from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Interment in Grove Place Cemetery will be private.

Daniel E. King
The Moment your Heart Stopped, Ours Changed Forever.
Danny was born September 4, 1976 in Batavia, NY to Linda (Diver) King and Timothy King  of Corfu, NY
Danny was loved by Family and all who knew him.  He was especially loved by his older brother Christopher D. King of PA, and his younger sister Stacey L. King of  Basom, NY
Danny was a bit of a Jack-Of-All-Trades.  He had an associate degree in Engineering trade.  He worked in CNC Programing.
Danny had one son Tyler King.
Danny was a beautiful Soul that loved fishing and 4 Wheeling.  He was also a bit of a prankster but it was always out of love.

Danny passed away August 20, 2021.  He leaves behind his parents Timothy and Linda King of Corfu, his brother Christopher (Rachel) King of Pennsylvania, a sister Stacy King of Basom NY  one niece Alysa King and nephew Alex King of PA, along with Uncles, Aunts and many other family members and friends.  A Memorial in celebration of his short but full life will take place Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2PM at the home of his Uncle Lawrence Diver located at 2058 Phelps Rd in Basom, NY 14013.

Beverly F. Baumgarte, 73, of Batavia, passed away on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.  Calling hours will be on September 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the H.E Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia, where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. also on September 4.  Beverly's full obituary will appear Saturday.

He is survived by his loving wife; Antoinette (Puccio) Stone; brother Harry Stone of Herkimer; Aunt Joyce (Richard) Sands of Bergen, along with many cousins.

Wayne has his own DJ business, American Music Express staring the Boogie Man. He worked with Danny Nevereth, at WBTA and WBTF radio in Batavia and for Ramblin Lou at WXRL radio in Lancaster. Wayne was a bus driver for both First Student and Transport America and was the Santa of the North Pole for the Medina Railroad Station. He delivered the local newspaper and also worked at Darien Lake, Topps in Alden and Walmart in Batavia.
