LeRoy ~ LisaMarie Burch, age 52, of Asbury Road, passed away Sunday afternoon (Feb. 1, 2015) at Highland Hospital.

     LisaMarie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.  She adored her family, especially her granddaughter.  LisaMarie loved to cook and work out in her garden.

     She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Duane Burch; her children, Stephanie (James) O'Geen of Stafford, William Burch of W. Seneca and Claire Burch of LeRoy; her granddaughter, Hattie O'Geen; her mother, Mary Louise (William) Vicary-Reinegal of Stafford; her sister, Charlotte (Matthew) Maser of Stafford; niece, Nicole (Daniel) Young of Philadelphia, along with many other nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father, William Vicary.

     Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 ~ 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 238 Vine St., Batavia.  Private burial will follow services in Stafford Rural Cemetery.

   Bob was a 1972 graduate of Alden High School and was a machinist at Excel Industries in Clarence, NY for over 30 years. As a member of the Batavia Rod & Gun Club he was an avid outdoorsman and shooting sporting clays and hunting waterfowl.

   Surviving is his beloved wife of 35 years, Linda (Duszkiewicz) Schmit of Batavia and his devoted daughter, Shannon Schmit at home; sister, Robin (Scott) Waite of Corfu; mother-in-law, Dorothy (late Eugene) Duszkiewicz; brothers-in-law, David, Joey (Donna) and the late Donald Duszkiewicz; sister-in-law, Judy Duszkiewicz; niece, Melissa Duszkiewicz; longtime hunting companions, Danny Lapp and his special four footed companions, Ariel, Emmy & Sierra.

Jack was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force and Army during WWII.  He was a proud member of the P-38 Squad 428^th in the South Pacific. “Klink” as he was referred to, retired from the Department of Corrections at Attica Prison as a Lieutenant / Shift Commander in 1980. He was a 60 year member of the Harder / O’Donnell American Legion and served as past Post Commander.  Jack was honored at this year’s Attica Holiday Parade as the Grand Marshall.  He was an avid sports fan, especially Notre Dame and the Buffalo Bills.  He attended all of his granddaughter Stacey’s Attica soccer and basketball games known as “Pops, with the candy”.  Jack enjoyed his Thursdays with his daughter Cindy watching his son-in-law Bob race sail boats on Lake Ontario from their porch. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father.

Husband to the late Ann Alice Wise, the love of his life, he is survived by his children; Gerald (Susan) Elmore of Attica, Ronald “RJ” Elmore of Batavia, Cynthia (Robert) Chaplin of Waterport; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister in law and beloved friend Bev Wise along with several nieces and nephews.  He was the grandfather to the late Stacey Chaplin who died December 24, 2004.

Marg is the daughter of the late Michael and Frances Mierzejewski and devoted wife of the late Gerald Matuszewski.

Marg was an avid participant in the Corfu Grange, several are Senior Groups and actively participated in various church activities. She loved to travel and be around her many friends and family.

She is survived by her 4 children; Marylou (Duane) Moot of Canajoharie, NY, Anthony Matuszewski of Frederica, Delaware, Rose (Manuel) Quizon of Walsenburg, Colorado and Nancy (Nick) Demarco of Orchard Park, NY; and 8 grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the C. B. Beach & Son Mortuary, Inc., 4 East Main Street, Corfu. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral, 6298 Broadway, Lancaster, NY.
 

   She was a member of Ascension Parish and worked for years at United Memorial Medical Center. Claudia enjoyed Native American History and its Culture, was an avid New York Yankees and Chicago Bears fan. She loved to travel and enjoyed her road trips to the water, but what brought her the most joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren

   She is survived by her loving children, Mark (Mary Margaret) Mruczek of TX & their children, Rachel & Renee; Pat (Jeanette) Mruczek of Alexander and their children, Justin, Nicholas & Marissa; Noreen (Ryan) Mooney of Oakfield and their children, Ryan (Trish), Zachary (Amy) Stehlar & Sara; Kellyann (Derek) Tefft of MI and their children, Collin & Avery; 2 great-grandchildren, Kaliegh & Lucy; sisters-in-law, Alice and Janet Mruczek, former husband, Francis Mruczek of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews.

THE FAMILY OF CLAUDIA M. MANCUSO IS BEING CARED FOR BY THE MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020.

A native of Hudson, MA, Alan was a son of the late Alan Frederick and Annie Lavinia Croad Taylor. He worked in a defense factory after finishing high school until he was old enough to enlist in the Army Air Corps. He served as a radioman during World War II and taught code. He was also stationed in the Fiji Islands where he was a swimming instructor. Following the war he worked as a police officer in Hudson, MA. Alan later moved to Batavia, NY where he went to work with GTE Sylvania, retiring after 30 years as a quality control engineer. He lived in Batavia for 50 years and was a 4-H leader for 25 years. An accomplished musician, Alan played trumpet in several bands as well as leading his own band, "The Variety Kings".  He was a certified instructor for the National Rifle Association and was a HAM Radio operator. Mr. Taylor lived in Tennessee for 7 years before moving to Aiken SC a year and a half ago. He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in East Pembroke, NY, the American Legion, VFW in Batavia, and the Pembroke Community Band.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Austin, New Orleans, LA, Kathryn Tucker (Don), Aiken, SC; two sons, Alan Taylor (Lin), Corfu, NY, Jeff Taylor (Vicki), Watertown, TN; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

   Paul was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from the Xerox Corporation. He loved to play golf and would often entertain family and friends with his wild stories. He had travelled the world and was in constant search of his next great adventure. Paul shared his final words with his daughter proclaiming, "I was a great dancer".

   He was a loving father to his son, John-Paul and daughter, Lauren both of Floral Park, NY; devoted brother to, Joel (Anne) Jaquay of LeRoy and favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews.

   At Paul's request there will no prior visitation and funeral services will be held privately by his family. In lieu of flowers his children request memorials be made in memory of Paul S. Jaquay to Prostate Cancer Research .

A 1951 graduate of Attica High School and a 1955 graduate of NYS University at Geneseo with a degree in Education, she was a dedicated elementary school teacher at Nunda Central, Castile, Attica and Alexander Central schools from which she retired in 1992.  Mrs. Yueckstock was member of the Attica Presbyterian Church.  Sylvia enjoyed her grandchildren, golfing, crocheting, as well as vacationing on her Island in Lake Temagami, Ontario.  She was even known to enjoy an occasional trip to the casino.  For over 20 years she enjoyed a golfing trip with other couples and friends around the 4^th of July weekend and on Labor Day weekend traveled mostly to Pennsylvania with 3 other couples, again for golf.  All were memorable moments for Sylvia.

Surviving is her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Yueckstock of Attica; her children Charles (Linda Salamone) Yueckstock of Darien, Deborah (Michael) Monahan of Rindge, NH and Jody (John) Fanara of Cassadaga; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister Marilyn Hoffmeister of Medina.

   Joe was a Correctional Officer at the Orleans Correctional Facility. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys, a quiet man who was adored by his family and all that knew him. Joe was most proud of his boys and loved nothing more than to make the "love of his life" Lori, smile.

   Surviving along with his mother, his beloved wife of 21 years, Lori (Roth) Young of S. Alabama; devoted sons, John and Gregory both at home; siblings, Constance (James) Fritschi of N.    Mr. Saraceni was a 1961 graduate of Batavia High School and a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked for the New York State Public Service Commission for over 20 years. Al was an avid sports fan, especially the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills, he enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino and attending air shows. He was a friend to everyone, his "heart of gold" was larger than life and his devotion to his family was immeasurable.

   Surviving is his beloved wife of 49 years, Jane(Shaffer) Saraceni of Batavia; loving children, Carol (Bernard) Pangrazio of Elba and their children, Lindsey & Nicole; David (Honora) Saraceni of Caledonia and their children, Joshua & Brandon; Steven (Julie Wallace) Saraceni of Batavia; siblings, Arthur Saraceni of Batavia, Karen Woods of Batavia, Germaine (Robert) Osborne of Oakfield and Amy (James) Thompson of FL along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

THE FAMILY OF ALFRED P. SARACENI IS BEING CARED FOR BY THE MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020.

She was born in Batavia on March 25, 1950, a daughter of the late Deacon Donald W. Shultz Sr. and Elizabeth Lawrence Shultz of Batavia.

Cathy started her real estate career with Nothnagle Realtors in August 1999.  As an associate broker, she was the recipient of numerous awards throughout her career, including The Womens’s Council of Realtors Pinnacle Award, and consistent Nothnagle Gold and Platinum Awards for outstanding sales volume.  Cathy always went above and beyond for all of her clients. She was more than just a co-worker at Nothnagle, she was also a friend to all and would always take time to help a new agent.  Her real estate saying was “If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.” 

Cathy was a board member at Habitat for Humanity of Genesee County from 2010-present and served as board vice president prior to becoming board president for two years.  She helped lead habitat through capacity building seminars to increase their housing production.  She represented habitat at state and national conferences throughout her tenure on the board of directors, served a pivotal role in procuring the current real estate that serves as habitat headquarters and was instrumental in the opening of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  Cathy was also a wonderful mother to her children and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving besides her mother are her children, Michael J. (Kathy) Pastore of Alexander and Christine (Joseph) Prucha of Pavilion.  Brothers and sisters: Michael (Irene) Shultz of Oakfield, Deborah (Michael) Pontillo of Batavia, Christine Schaeffer of Charlotte, NC, Mary Lou (Ronald) Sima of Columbus, OH, Donald (Linda) Shultz Jr. of Owego, NY, Stephen(Mary) Shultz of Phoenix, AZ, Elizabeth (William) Hite of Columbus, OH and Margaret (Thomas) Schwallie of Lancaster, NY.  Grandchildren,  Amber (Kevin) Henning and Gracie (Joseph) Puls. Five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Michael J. Pastore Jr.

Mrs. Ilasi was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish, Women’s Christian Group and NARFE. She participated in many events at the Manor House especially bowling, dancing and art. Angela loved to entertain and she was an excellent cook.

Mrs. Ilasi is survived by her sons Nicholas (Connie) Ilasi of Batavia; Salvatore Ilasi of Los Angeles; daughter Immaculata Iannello of Batavia; grandchildren Michael Ilasi, Nicole (Joseph) Lambert, Rose Ilasi, John F. and Joseph Iannello, Priscilla and Angela Ilasi, great-grandchildren Grace and Rae Iannello, along with many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton. She was an Avon Cosmetics Consultant for 33 years prior to retirement.  Margaret and her husband Clarence made Rosary’s for several years.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Church and New Holy Family Parish as well as Our Lady of Lourdes, and Tri Town Senior Citizens.

She is survived by children John (Patricia) Eddy, C. David (Debbie) Eddy, Beverly (Carl) Mest, Jeanne (Edward) Hulme, Richard (Debbie) Eddy, Mary (Robert) Sendor, Mark (Heide) Eddy, Vincent (Mary) Eddy, Rosie (Terri) Burch, Ronald (Sue) Eddy, Francis Eddy; brother Andrew (Marlene) Youngers; sisters Theresa Neamon, Betty Koerner, Ann Koerner, Rosemary (Richard) Almeter; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
